Privacy Policy

What we are

RetentionOS is a Whop app that helps community operators identify at-risk members and send automated win-back messages. We process data on behalf of the community operator (the "creator") who installs the app.

Data we collect

When a creator installs RetentionOS, we receive from the Whop platform:

• Membership identifiers, status, and join dates
• Member usernames and email addresses (where provided by Whop)
• Membership event data: activity timestamps, payment outcomes
• Plan identifiers and subscription amounts

When a visitor submits a free audit request on this website, we collect their name, email address, Whop community URL, approximate member count, and any optional message they provide.

How we use it

• To calculate churn risk scores for a creator's members
• To trigger automated DMs through the Whop messaging API when a flow fires
• To display member activity and retention metrics in the dashboard
• To respond to free audit requests and follow up with recommendations

We do not sell data to third parties. We do not use member data for advertising.

Data storage

Member and event data is stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU (eu-central-1). Audit request data is stored in the same database. We use Vercel for application hosting.

Data retention

Membership event data is retained for up to 12 months from collection. When a creator uninstalls RetentionOS, their company record and all associated member data is deleted within 30 days.

Your rights

If you are a member of a Whop community that uses RetentionOS and wish to request deletion of your data, contact us at privacy@retentionos.app or reach out through your creator. We will action removal requests within 30 days.
